Anthony Edwards (Dr. Mark Greene)
Anthony Edwards remained respected for his emotional role as Dr. Mark Greene and later appeared in television series including Designated Survivor and Inventing Anna. He has also worked as a producer and director over the years while maintaining a lower-profile career compared to some of his ER co-stars. Fans still consider his departure from ER one of the most emotional moments in television history.

Julianna Margulies (Nurse Carol Hathaway)
After ER, Julianna Margulies earned critical acclaim starring in The Good Wife, a role that won her multiple Emmy Awards. She later appeared in series including Billions and The Morning Show while continuing to work steadily in television and film. Margulies remains one of the most awarded and respected actresses to come out of the ER cast.

Noah Wyle (Dr. John Carter)
Noah Wyle continued working in television after ER and later starred in Falling Skies, The Librarians, and several dramatic series and films. Over the years, he has also become involved in theater and humanitarian causes. Wyle remains closely associated with Dr. Carter, one of the defining characters of the entire ER series.

Eriq La Salle (Dr. Peter Benton)
After ER, Eriq La Salle shifted much of his focus toward directing and producing television. He directed episodes of numerous popular series including Chicago P.D., Law & Order, and Lucifer while continuing occasional acting work. His role as Dr. Benton remains one of the most respected performances from the early years of ER.

Laura Innes (Dr. Kerry Weaver)
Laura Innes continued acting after ER while also building a strong career as a television director. She directed episodes for several major television dramas and remained active behind the camera for many years. Fans still remember her portrayal of Dr. Weaver as one of the show’s most complex and memorable characters.

Sherry Stringfield (Dr. Susan Lewis)
Sherry Stringfield largely stepped away from the Hollywood spotlight after her years on ER, choosing to focus more on family life while taking occasional acting roles.
